In which the limbs, or other lymph glands and lymphatic vessels, grow to enormous size.

Due to lymphatic obstruction, lymph cannot get back into circulatory system, accumulates into organs and causes them to swell or enlarge to fantastic proportions (lymphodema).

In severe cases, abnormal connective tissue from the affected areas to further complicate the situation.

Excess secretion of growth hormone (secreted by anterior pituitary) leads to gigantism.
