The fermented broth, with a large amount of ethanol in it, is now called green beer.

It is allowed to mature and develop a distinct flavor. After maturation, the liquid is filtered, pasteurized and the $CO_2$ that was extracted earlier, is pumped back inside in order to give the beer the fizzy taste. Finally, the finished product is bottled and sold for consumption.
