C) $ (1,,0),(-1,,0) $

D) $ (1,,0),(2,,0) $

Show Answer

Answer:

Correct Answer: D

Solution:

Given, equation of circle is $ x^{2}+y^{2}-3x-4y+2=0 $ and it cuts the x-axis.

$ \therefore $ $ x^{2}+0-3x+2=0 $ or $ x^{2}-3x+2=0 $ or $ (x-1),(x-2)=0 $ or $ x=1,,2. $

Therefore the points are (1,0) and (2, 0).
