Solution:

We know that the standard equation of a parabola is $ {{(y-\beta )}^{2}}=4a(x-\alpha ). $

Comparing the given equation with the standard equation,

we get vertex $ (\alpha ,\beta )=(-3,2) $ and $ a=5 $ .

Therefore focus of the parabola $ (\alpha +a,\beta )=(2,2) $ .
