$ \therefore n(N\cap P)+n(P\cap H)+n(N\cap H)=16 $
Now, number of pupils taking two subjects $ =n(N\cap P)+n(P\cap H)+n(N\cap H)-3n(N\cap P\cap H) $ $ =16-0=16 $
