Solution:

The midpoint of $ P(-2,6) $ and $ Q(4,2) $ is $ ( \frac{-2+4}{2},\frac{6+2}{2} ) $ i.e., $ (1,4) $ and the gradient of line$ PQ=\frac{2-6}{4+2}=\frac{-2}{3} $ \ The slope of $ L=\frac{3}{2} $ Hence the equation of line which passes through point $ (1,4) $ is $ y-4=\frac{3}{2}(x-1) $
Þ $ 3x-2y+5=0 $ .
