Solution:

Let the equation of line is $ y=mx+c $ Given line makes an angle of $ 135{}^\circ $ with x-axisSo, $ m=\tan \theta =\tan 135{}^\circ =-1 $ and cuts the intercepts -5 from origin to y-axis i.e., $ c=-5 $ Hence, equation of line is $ y=-x-5\Rightarrow x+y+5=0 $ .
