Solution:

Equation of line perpendicular to $ ax+by+c=0 $ is $ bx-ay+\lambda =0 $ …..(i)It passes through (a, b)So, from equation (i), $ ab-ab+\lambda =0\Rightarrow \lambda =0 $ So equation of line is $ bx-ay=0 $ .
