Options:

A) 4 m

B) $ m/2 $

C) $ m/4 $

D) 2 m

Show Answer

Answer:

Correct Answer: B

Solution:

By Faraday’s law, $ m\propto i,t. $ \ $ \frac{m _{1}}{m _{2}}=\frac{i _{1}t _{1}}{i _{2}t _{2}} $

Therefore $ \frac{m}{m _{2}}=\frac{4\times 120}{6\times 40} $

Therefore $ m _{2}=\frac{m}{2} $
