AP M.Tech Counselling 2023 Through GATE

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, will announce the dates for AP PGECET 2023 counselling on the official website – pgecet-sche.aptonline.in. Candidates who have passed GATE/GPAT and AP PGECET 2023 are eligible to participate in the web counselling for admission to M.Tech/M. Pharmacy/Pharma D (PB) programs for the academic year 2023-24. The AP M.Tech 2023 counselling process comprises multiple steps, such as the following:

1. Online Registration and Payment of Fees

Candidates who have qualified in AP PGECET and GATE must first sign in to the official portal using their GATE/AP PGECET rank and hall ticket number. After successful registration, a fee of INR 1,000/- (INR 600/- for SC/ST candidates) must be paid online. This fee is non-refundable. It is recommended that candidates keep their transaction ID safe for future use.

2. Reporting to Verification Centres

Following this, candidates must report to the assigned centres for document verification with their AP PGECET 2023 rank card. Candidates will be called for AP M.Tech counselling 2023 based on their ranks. Information such as the registration fee receipt/transaction ID, Aadhaar card number, and mobile number must be provided at the centre.

3. Document Verification

The subsequent step is the verification of documents. Candidates are required to present the following certificates:

• GATE Score or GATE/AP PGECET Rank card 2023
• AP PGECET 2023 Hall ticket
• Provisional/Degree Certificate
• SSC Memorandum or its equivalent

4. Selection Preferences

After the verification of documents, applicants are required to establish a login ID and password. This is done using their registration number, date of birth, and hall ticket number. They can then log in using the OTP sent to their registered mobile number and start filling in their preferred institutions and courses. Applicants are encouraged to select as many options as possible to boost their chances of being selected. Once they have made their choices, they need to pay the necessary counselling fee to secure them.

5. Seat Allotment

The final stage of the process is the AP PGECET 2023 seat allotment. Seats are assigned based on merit, the preference of college/course, and seat availability. The authorities will issue a seat allotment letter, which all applicants must download via a self-reporting system before reporting to their assigned college/institute. Failure to present the seat allotment letter at the assigned college will result in the cancellation of their application.
