The first step is to take the computer-based SNAP 2023 exam. If you qualify, you will move on to step 2, which is the GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Test). Candidates who want to pursue post-graduate courses from participating colleges of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University must follow the SIBM Selection Process.

As the SNAP 2023 results are announced, candidates will need to register for the further rounds of SNAP 2023. It is important to note that qualifying for the SNAP 2023 entrance exam alone does not guarantee admission to SIU’s participating colleges. Clearing Stage 2 is also necessary. Participating institutes have separate admission processes for each program they offer. Step 2 of the SNAP selection procedure 2023 is divided into several parts, including registration, group exercise, personal interaction, and writing ability test.

To proceed to step 2, all candidates must clear the SNAP 2023 cutoff set by the participating institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University. The SNAP cutoff is the minimum mark required to be shortlisted for further rounds of the selection process, including GE-PI/WAT. Each participating institute will issue its own SNAP cutoff list based on factors such as reservation criteria, seat availability, and the difficulty level of the SNAP entrance test.

The three steps of stage 2 are as follows:

Step 1: Group Exercise (GE)

• Candidates who qualify for SNAP 2023 will be included in the cutoff list and called for the GE round.
• Group exercises will be conducted to assess candidates’ skills and potential. This round is similar to a group discussion, where candidates will be given a topic and judged on their communication, problem-solving, and focus abilities.
• Groups of 7-8 candidates will discuss the given topic for 15-20 minutes.

Step 2: Personal Interaction (PI) Selected candidates of the GE round, will be further called for personal interaction round. This round is mainly conducted to assess the interpersonal skills and confidence of the candidates.

Step 3: Writing Ability Test (WAT)

Candidates will be given a topic and asked to write an essay. The test will be conducted using pen and paper. It will evaluate the candidate’s knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.

SNAP Merit List 2023

In the GE-PI/WAT step, candidates must attend all the components in order to be eligible for admission to postgraduate programs in SNAP-participating colleges. Candidates who complete all components of the GE-PI/WAT will be considered for the waitlist, merit list, or reject list.

If a candidate is absent for any of the components/tests, their candidature will be cancelled. The parameters for the SNAP 2023 merit list are expected to be similar to previous years’ admissions.
