Answer:

The common cold is primarily caused by various viruses, such as rhinoviruses. It is highly contagious and primarily spreads through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Symptoms of the common cold include sneezing, a runny nose, sore throat, and cough. While there is no cure for the common cold, its symptoms can be managed through rest and over-the-counter remedies.
