Succulents are known to keep their stomata closed during the day to check transpiration. How do they meet their photosynthetic CO2 Requirements?

Answer:

Succulent plants carry out CAM pathway which is an adaptation to the arid conditions. The carbon fixation takes place at night when the stomata opens and allows the gaseous exchange.
