Why does the rate of photosynthesis decrease at higher temperatures?

Answer:

photosynthesis is an enzyme dependent process. The enzymes are protein and work at optimum temperature and an increase in temperature may degrade the enzymes. So, at higher temperatures, the rate of photosynthesis decreases.
