Problem 10 : Explain the concept of hydrogen bonding and provide examples of molecules that exhibit hydrogen bonding.
Solution :
Hydrogen bonding occurs when hydrogen is bonded to highly electronegative atoms like oxygen (O), nitrogen (N), or fluorine (F) and is attracted to lone pairs on neighboring electronegative atoms. Examples include H₂O and NH₃, where hydrogen bonds form between hydrogen and oxygen or nitrogen, respectively.
