Problem 2 : Four point charges, Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4, are located at the vertices of a square of side ‘a.’ Calculate the net electrostatic force on Q1 due to Q2, Q3, and Q4.
Solution :
This problem is similar to the previous one. You have four charges at the vertices of a square. Follow the same procedure as in problem 1 to calculate the forces due to each charge individually and then find the net force by applying the superposition principle.
