  1. The thermal decomposition of given compounds is shown below

$$ \begin{gathered} \left(NH _4\right) _2 Cr _2 O _7 \stackrel{\Delta}{\longrightarrow} N _2+4 H _2 O+Cr _2 O _3 \ NH _4 NO _2 \stackrel{\Delta}{\longrightarrow} N _2+2 H _2 O \ \left(NH _4\right) _2 SO _4 \stackrel{\Delta}{\longrightarrow} 2 NH _3+H _2 SO _4 \ Ba\left(N _3\right) _2 \longrightarrow Ba+3 N _2 \end{gathered} $$

Thus, only $\left(NH _4\right) _2 SO _4$ does not gives $N _2$ on heating (It give $NH _3$ ). While rest of the given compounds gives $N _2$ on their thermal decomposition.
