Impulse $=$ Area under $F=t$ curve

(a) $\frac{1}{2} \times 1 \times 0.5=\frac{1}{4}$ N.s

(b) $0.5 \times 2=1$ N.s (maximum)

(c) $\frac{1}{2} \times 1 \times 0.75=\frac{3}{8}$ N.s

(d) $\frac{1}{2} \times 2 \times 0.5=\frac{1}{2}$ N.s
