Show Answer

Answer: (a)

Solution

Calgon is $\text{Na}_6(\text{PO}_3)_6$. Order of abundance in earth crust: O > Si > Al > Fe > Ca > Na > Mg > K. The second most abundant element is Si, not Ca. Hence statement (a) is not true.
