JEE PYQ: Continuity And Differentiability Question 28
Question 28 - 2019 (09 Apr Shift 2)
If the function
$$f(x) = \begin{cases} a|\ \pi - x\ | + 1, & x \leq 5 \ b|\ x - \pi\ | + 3, & x > 5 \end{cases}$$
is continuous at $x = 5$, then the value of $a - b$ is:
(1) $\dfrac{2}{\pi + 5}$
(2) $\dfrac{-2}{\pi + 5}$
(3) $\dfrac{2}{\pi - 5}$
(4) $\dfrac{2}{5 - \pi}$
