JEE PYQ: Indefinite Integration Question 28
Question 28 - 2019 (09 Jan Shift 2)
If $f(x) = \int \frac{5x^8 + 7x^6}{(x^2 + 1 + 2x^7)^2},dx$, $(x \ge 0)$, and $f(0) = 0$, then the value of $f(1)$ is:
(1) $-\frac{1}{2}$
(2) $-\frac{1}{4}$
(3) $\frac{1}{2}$
(4) $\frac{1}{4}$
Show Answer
Answer: (4)
Solution
Same as Q3. $f(x) = \frac{x^7}{x^2+1+2x^7}$. $f(1) = \frac{1}{4}$.
