JEE PYQ: Mathematical Reasoning Question 30

Question 30 - 2019 (09 Apr Shift 2)

If $p \Rightarrow (q \vee r)$ is false, then the truth values of $p$, $q$, $r$ are respectively:

(1) F, T, T

(2) T, F, F

(3) T, T, F

(4) F, F, F

Type: MCQ

Show Answer

Answer: (2)

Solution

For $p \Rightarrow q \vee r$ to be F, $p$ must be T and $q \vee r$ must be F, so $q = F$ and $r = F$. Hence $p, q, r = T, F, F$.
