Solution

LETTER: L, E, T, T, E, R. Consonants L, T, T, R: arrange in $\frac{4!}{2!} = 12$ ways. Place 2 E’s in 5 gaps: ${}^5C_2 = 10$. Total $= 12 \times 10 = 120$.
