Ge and Si diodes start conducting at 0.3 V and 0.7 V respectively. If Ge diode connection are reversed, the value of $V_0$ changes by:
(1) 0.8 V
(2) 0.6 V
(3) 0.2 V
(4) 0.4 V
Initially $V_o = 12 - 0.3 = 11.7$ V (Ge conducts). After reversal $V_o = 12 - 0.7 = 11.3$ V (Si conducts). Change $= 0.4$ V.
