Enterokinase, produced by cells of duodenum, is involved in digestion. It converts trypsinogen (a zymogen) into its active form trypsin, resulting in the subsequent activation of pancreatic digestive enzymes. Fructose shows facilitated transport . Oxyntic cells secrete $HCl$ and intrinsic factors that are essential for absorption of vitamin $B _{12}$
