Hints & Solutions

(a) In ectopic pregnancies, the implantation of embryo does not occur in uterus but at other site. Ectopic pregnancy is also called tubal pregnancy and this condition arises when pregnancy occurs outside the uterus or in the fallopian tube. This condition develops due to the inability of the fertilized egg to make its way through the Fallopian tube into the uterus.
