Previous Year NEET Question- Atomic Models

The Bohr model of the atom is based on the assumption that electrons revolve around the nucleus in fixed circular orbits. This is because the Bohr model is based on the idea that electrons can only exist in certain energy levels. The energy levels are defined by the distance of the electron from the nucleus. The closer the electron is to the nucleus, the lower the energy level. The electrons can only move between energy levels if they absorb or emit energy.
