Eligibility Criteria

Age limit
AGE LIMIT (as on 01-07-2025): 18 to 30 years
Age Relaxation in upper age limit / maximum upper age for the following categories / communities in the table below are applicable subject to submission of requisite certificates.

Important Notes:
i) If a candidate is eligible for age relaxation on more than one ground, he/she will get the maximum amongst the relaxations for which he/she is eligible (not cumulative).
ii) SC, ST & OBC (NCL) candidates applying against UR vacancies will not get any age relaxation.
iii) Age relaxation to Ex-Servicemen candidates will be as given in para 5.1 above.
Nationality:
A candidate must fit one of the following categories:
An Indian citizen
A subject of Nepal
A subject of Bhutan
An Indian citizen who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African nations of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
A Tibetan refugee who crossed the border of India before January 1, 1962.
Candidates who fall under categories (2), (3), (4), and (5) above must possess a certificate of eligibility from the Indian government, which must be shown during document verification to avoid having their application denied.
